Why would I need a Digital ID?
A Digital ID is a verified identity you control. Once created, your details are verified and stored securely on the blockchain, and you get a personal QR code you can share to prove who you are and to connect securely with other allgram users.
1. Verification — your identity is checked automatically through our verification partner (didit); if automatic checks aren't available you can submit your details manually. Your Digital ID shows as Processing and, once checked, Approved.
2. Using it — others can scan your QR code to view your verified details, add you to contacts, or start a chat or call. Your QR code is encrypted and refreshes regularly for safety.
3. Age proof — you can optionally share only an age proof (for example 18+, 21+ or 25+) so your date of birth stays hidden.
